MRC is a global arena where young innovators transform imagination into machines—and machines into performance.

As Kenya's official National Partner, QuantekLab leads the country's journey into this international movement, giving young Kenyan innovators access to the same platform, judging standards and global exposure as their peers across Europe, the Americas and beyond.

What is MRC?

Competition for the curious.

MRC is an international educational robotics competition organized by the Hellenic Educational Robotics Organization—H.E.R.O.—and built on one powerful idea: robotics deserves the discipline, energy and drama of sport.

Students design Athlete-Robots that compete across categories ranging from Exhibition and Rally to Sumo, Soccer and Obstacle Racing. Teams are judged not only on whether a robot works, but on innovation, engineering rigor and real-world thinking.

Each year, the MRC Global Olympiad brings student delegations together for four days of competition, category championships and a global celebration of youth-led innovation in robotics, AI and automation.
